Ultravox runs voice agents on a speech-native model that takes audio in directly instead of transcribing it to text first, so tone and pacing reach the model. Its UltraVAD model decides when the caller has finished talking, which cuts down on agents interrupting people. Developers build agents through a REST API, web and mobile SDKs, and telephony integrations with the major carriers. The free tier charges 5 cents a minute including text-to-speech, capped at 5 concurrent calls. Pro is $100 a month billed yearly and removes the concurrency cap.
